Ten Minute Craft Dash

Hey there again, Okay so its been a week since my last post... I have been busy making cards I just have been lazy to post them... But, what better than a ten minute craft dash to get on the ball ! I just love these challenges I am so glad I stumbled upon them! I am getting better with it though i made this cute little card in 9 minutes and 53 seconds hahaha ! I am such a slow crafter ... I think its because I really enjoy making things perfect. Plus this simple little card took some work.. I had to stamp the image 3 times to make a mirror image and then cut out the banner to make it 3-d... but it all paid off because I love love love the end result. Oh and the message isn't it amazing it's from a new stamp set I just bought called Good Times from Mama Elephant a new stamp company!!!! Oh and speaking of new stamps that made it hard for me because I have never used the little cowgirls before and wasn't sure how to use them until I bought the sentiment and I knew it was perfect !

Ok so I wanted to give the ten minute craft dash another shot, because I realized I have problems staying focussed and need to make my cards in a more timely fashion. Anywhoooo, I came up with a simple concept and still managed to leak over ten minutes (sad face) Well... I was watching tv again I think I have a multitasking problem lol and I forgot to pause my timer to add more tape in my ATC (it ran out) that def. took longer than 9 seconds so I forgive myself and think I was probably in the 9:00 min range-ish

Also, I figured I would add a little video clip of my skating since I have not done so in a while... Im exhausted, training was really intense today.

Its Challenge time

Yayyy I think I am officially back in the game. I have been posting for a few consecutive days now and it really feels great ! I find it amazing though how much things change in just a year. I went to do some of my favorite challenges only to discover most are now "discontinued" as sad as that makes me I have also found some really fabulous new challenges to partake in. For this post I used one of my fav. blogs Mojo Monday , I was relieved to still find them up and at it. For me the biggest problem in my crafting is that some weeks I am so creative I surprise myself and others I sit at my chair staring at the computer waiting for a Creative little fairy to sprinkle some Mojo dust over my head lolol. Anyway today I also tried a new challenge "Runway Inspired Challenge #21" I really love how all their challenges are just as the title suggest Runway Inspired. 

Ten min. craft dash challenge

Hey again, ok this is crazzyyyyyy I can not believe I am actually making a second post. Yes my friends 2 posts in ONE day ! I don't remember the last time I did that haha. Ok well this post is for an awesome challenge that is not only literally a color challenge but also a REAL challenge. Its from the Pretty Pink Posh blog challenge called "Ten minute craft dash"! The challenge is exactly as its name entails... You get ten minutes to create a card... So for my first attempt at this challenge I was feeling pretty confident... I liked the color pallet and have been making some cards using craft red and aqua... I guess I didn't realize how quickly ten minutes goes you need to cut trim measure make bows... etc etc... Oh and come up with an idea ... So I wanted to do a money holder and I admit I was a little cocky and I am trying to make bulk lately so I challenged myself to make two cards in ten minutes.... Okay that didn't happen I started off really well until I needed to add a bow...punch out a design and measure it all... so I stopped doing two half way through bc I realized that would not be happening under ten mins. and ended up doing One and a half in 10 minutes 4 seconds... Oh and I forgot to mention I was watching the VOICE ! OMG I love that show. It is addicting anyway I ended up finishing my second card and in total It took just under twenty minutes... I loved partaking in this challenge it really was hard to do and I loved the colors I took the picture using my phone sorry for the quality its late and I dont know where my sd card for my camera is =( ! wahooooooo though for another post. 

Stars and COlor Challenge

Hey guys its Ashley, I had the time to make a cute little boy *or girls Birthday gift card. I followed and played along with the EmbellishCardsMagazine Stars Color trend challenge. I love the color combo its always my go to boys color pallete. I have been MIA for a while but I have been coming back and I find myself excited to craft again. I was also invited by a friend to do a craft fair this weekend so that really inspired me to get crafting !!!! I can not wait to share and post pictures from this upcoming Sunday. I have never done a craft fair before so this is very very very exciting for me...
