Back for a quickie

Hello ,
Okay so It has been a while since my last post =( Again.... Oooopsies so much has happened lately. For one thing I started competing this season. I had my first competition the beginning of Feb. I placed 3rd so I was pleased. Unfortunately I needed nose repair surgery the week after because I was having difficulty breathing due to scar tissue building up... Sadly though 4 days before surgery I knocked my spinal joint out of place causing a lot of fluid to sit around my nerves = PAIN... either way they still did surgery but afterwards I got a really bad case of bronchitis and needed 4 doses of antibiotics =( Ok well enough with my sob story lol I am back on the ice and doing better than ever, all Glory to God because I have hardly skated and have not lost anything =) I am healing beautifully and am excited to announce I have another competition next Friday and Saturday !!!! I hope to be able to post some videos =)

Ok so now for this card... I have been quite obsessed recently with the whole Nautical theme for little girls, and well Nautical theme period. Recently I saw a pin for a babie first birthday and that really inspired me for this card. I have been wanting to craft a lot lately but due to injury have not been able to sit for long pds of time. . . Well I finally started browsing some fabulous blogs and challenge blogs and decided what better way to jump back in to the ring than to partake in one of my FAVORITE challenges. THE 10 MINUTE CRAFT DASH.  Ok well when I saw their color scheme I immediately saw NAUTICAL! I hope you like it, i know I do. Sorry for the picture quality its late and I dont have a natural lamp and it was captured with my phone , I tried though. I will try to take another picture tom. I get so frustrated because you really can't appreciate this card through this picture.... Ok well happy crafting my fellow bloggers =)

Hello blog friends, Wow its been a little too long on my behalf. Well what can I say Im a busy busy gall. . . Lately I have been training 4+ on ice hours and 2 off each day. For those of you who are just checking in on my blog Im a competitive figure skater trying to make it to the 2014 USA figure skating Nationals. BTW this weekend NBC will be showing 2013 nationals so be sure to watch that because its amazing!!!!!
Anyway let me not lose focus because I tend to ramble. I made this little card for the ten minute craft dash ! Let me say I just love those challenges. I made this little card in about 8 minutes and 36 seconds-ISh. This time I am going by some math calculations as I was consumed by my computer watching the figure skating competition live on the internet... Soooo I basically made this card during the duration of the scores after the first two groups of skaters... so that is like 9 skaters and each result lasts any where from 30 seconds to a minute ish... I kept pausing my timer but in the end eight minutes and 36 seconds were used =) I hope you like it as I really do love it, especially these colors I am going to try to post another before the challenge closes. Ten Minute Craft Dash

Hey there again, Okay so its been a week since my last post... I have been busy making cards I just have been lazy to post them... But, what better than a ten minute craft dash to get on the ball ! I just love these challenges I am so glad I stumbled upon them! I am getting better with it though i made this cute little card in 9 minutes and 53 seconds hahaha ! I am such a slow crafter ... I think its because I really enjoy making things perfect. Plus this simple little card took some work.. I had to stamp the image 3 times to make a mirror image and then cut out the banner to make it 3-d... but it all paid off because I love love love the end result. Oh and the message isn't it amazing it's from a new stamp set I just bought called Good Times from Mama Elephant a new stamp company!!!! Oh and speaking of new stamps that made it hard for me because I have never used the little cowgirls before and wasn't sure how to use them until I bought the sentiment and I knew it was perfect !

10MCD and a Skating video (2 '4' 1)

Ok so I wanted to give the ten minute craft dash another shot, because I realized I have problems staying focussed and need to make my cards in a more timely fashion. Anywhoooo, I came up with a simple concept and still managed to leak over ten minutes (sad face) Well... I was watching tv again I think I have a multitasking problem lol and I forgot to pause my timer to add more tape in my ATC (it ran out) that def. took longer than 9 seconds so I forgive myself and think I was probably in the 9:00 min range-ish

Ok well here is a little collage of my race against the clock, I love instagram <3>

Also, I figured I would add a little video clip of my skating since I have not done so in a while... Im exhausted, training was really intense today.
